On August 8, Sahlen?s Stadium at 460 Oak Street will host the return of professional boxing to Rochester when the ?Summer Throwdown at Sahlen?s Stadium? takes place.? The event will featuring Patrick ?The Punisher? Hyland, known as the ?Pride of Ireland? who holds a 26-0 (12 kos) record; hoping to make this one #27 ? the best start to a career in Ireland?s history.? He will face Carlos ?El Flaco? Fulgencio from the Dominican Republic ? who holds a18-7-1 (12 kos) record.? Hyland, by the way, is managed by ?Snooki? of Jersey Shore fame; and she?s expected to be at the match!

The U.S. Limited Poags Hole Championship Professional Motorcycle Hillclimbing competition is scheduled this year for August 19.? Gates open at 9 a.m. at the site, located off Interstate 390, Exit 4, in Dansville.? (Make a right on Rt. 36, first right onto Poags Hole Rd, three miles to the Hill.)?
